La La La

Soooo finally figuring out how to post things on here, few weeks to late but it's better than never! Been working with Ben and his collegues for about 7 weeks throughout August on a doodle project. We worked on Screen printing in the DCA trying to develop pieces of work from the doodles that Ben's collegues had drawn whilst working in the Bank of Scotland.




In the first 3 weeks it was great to see the variety of doodles coming from everyone. From Carols simple faces to Ash's delicate patterns. Claire ran through the process with everyone, from coating the screens with photographic emulsion to exposing the doodle images to the UV light.










Carol, very enthusiastic about learning the process, and considered taking up future classes in the DCA. It was good to see how aware it made people of the fantastic facilities in the DCA and what can be created, while having fun at the same time. Many of the prints made are being considered for an exhibition thats going to be put on in the Bank and hopefully other call centres.
